About
The New York State Camp Directors Association (NYSCDA) represents the children's camp industry in New York State. Through the services of a full-time lobbyist in Albany, NYSCDA monitors and then responds to all legislation and regulation that might impact children's camps.
NYSCDA also serves as a liaison to aid camp directors with any problems they might be having in terms of legislation or regulation.
Founded in 1955, NYSCDA's membership currently consists of more than 250 camp directors and associate members. Membership benefits include: comprehensive guidelines for operating a camp; immediate notification of changes in laws and regulations; an extensive network to share all aspects of operating a camp in New York with experienced camp directors; and various vendor discounts.
